"The castle view room was lovely...very spacious, nice bathroom and the bed was a bit small but comfortable enough. Our evening meal in the restaurant was quite pricey but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was equally excellent. We loved hearing about the history of the castle with the complimentary tour...great idea! We visited as a couple to celebrate my partner's birthday and were not disappointed thank you!"

"Lovely cottage and gardens. Well equipped. Easy parking. The hosts have clearly given a lot of thought to what guests might need during their stay. We enjoyed the interesting mix of books, photos and artwork. Location is quiet with immediate nice walks along the river Allen. Would definitely stay again."
