What a spectacular location, right on the lake with mountain views. Property was clean and well maintained and staff were friendly and helpful. Was there on business but will plan a return trip on vacation!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The place is very clean and tidy. The Neighborhood is very quiet and beautiful. It’s 2 minutes walk to the Cogwheel station. The living room has partial lake view.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Hammer. The hotel is located outside the town of Kriens and is accessible via a long windy road by either car or bus. If you're bringing a car, like we did, you can park for free at the hotel and use the regional bus and train system to get around the area. The bus can take you directly to Lucerne in about 25-30 mins. There's also fantastic hikes and "wanderwegs" that are accessible by foot right outside the hotel's door. The hotel provided a lovely...

The staff were very pleasant and helpful; the facilities quaint, clean and aesthetically pleasing! The view is unmatched and the setting perfect for the size hotel and surrounding architecture. Great place to practice your German and mostly everyone speaks english if you need help. Very quiet and serene! stunning Foliage and surrounding verdure.

Nice hotel near transportation but its not in the city

Great staff and great location! The only problem I had was the toillet in my room had no door! So if you are not comfortable, make sure to ask from staff!

Great stay at Hotel des Balances. Had a lovely balcony room facing the water. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Located in the middle of everything. Highly recommend, pic on the hotel’s balcony.

We asked for a lake view room upon reservation and when we arrived, we were upgraded to a suite with not only a lake view, but a balcony. The accommodations were not only spacious and comfortable, but the room was beautifully appointed with an antique desk and dresser, lovely chandeliers, roomy closets and a double sink bathroom. Details and little touches make this hotel special. We received a bowl of fruit, a handwritten note of welcome, and binoculars to enjoy the spectacular views offered...

We were very pleased with our 2 night stay in Lucerne at the Cascada. The hotel is a convenient distance from the train station, an easy walk with luggage but far enough away that you can't hear trains. Reception was excellent and was able to get us into our room a couple hours before check-in time. They also were able to put us in a room towards the quiet back side of the building (little to no street noise.) Switzerland uses outlet plugs which are different from anywhere we've been in Europe....

The room was really spacious and had an awesome lake view. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They give you a free bus pass to use during your stay. You get on right out front and it takes you to the city center or train station in about 15 minutes. Very easy and convenient. After a day of sightseeing it was nice to come back to our room, make some hot tea, and slip into a cozy robe and slippers. I also thought the price of the room was very reasonable considering how expensive...

We loved this unique boutique hotel! Comfortable, clean, nice people, good convenient area, easily walkable from the train station. Very delicious treat left on our bed upon arrival. I judge a hotel by the shower…is the water very hot, does it trickle or stream, things like that. This hotel had a great shower! There was no air conditioner, but we were fine in early June. Very good breakfast as well.

This place is The Best and we shall i return For Sure! A true oasis in the mountains!
