WiFi and tables available under trees on the beach. 24hr kitchen for room service - which is great for jet lagged arrivals. No Bali belly, so the food was safely prepared - including a wide variety of fresh cut fruit.
In the room, I saw a few bugs (centipede, roach variety); nevertheless everything was very clean. it’s a tropical island with favorable conditions for them to survive; and having lived in hot and humid environments, I assume it’s likely an ongoing battle no matter how clean a place may be. The grounds are gorgeous with lots of greenery and trees along the paths from the lobby, villa rooms, pools, restaurant and beach. The beach has a paved walkway that allows easy access for people, child strollers/ prams, and bicycles to find various restaurants, resorts and shopping. The Genius cafe is on the beach next to the Mercure. I would easily stay here again. "
