The staff are excellent - they are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The whole resort is spotless. Right on the beach. The food was excellent, particularly the breakfast. The Spa was amazing and zen like. It was wonderful.

We had an amazing two weeks at Andaz Bali for our honeymoon. The staff had a special cake made for us and local jams and snacks were delivered to celebrate our day. The staff were absolutely incredible. We were truly spoiled! Arthur and Hendra always had a smile for us and remembered our drink and food preferences. Hendra was eager to share Balinese cuisine with us and would set aside the Dish of the Day for my wife to try. Our room had a private garden and our desire for privacy was always respected. We work in the customer service industry so we recognize quality employees when we encounter them. When we come back to Bali, we will be sure to stay at Andaz again. Our thanks to your entire staff for a lovely vacation!

We recently stayed at Andaz Sanur for 4 nights as part of my birthday week celebrations. Absolutely loved this stunning resort, the staff who couldn't do enough for you and the dining options which were available onsite. They even organised a lovely birthday cake which was very unexpected 😁 What we didn't love was the harassment we received by the ladies on the boardwalk (outside the resort) anytime we wanted to go for a walk. Everytime they saw us they would beg us to have a look at their shop and they simply wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. In the end we were harassed to the point that we were forced to find another route to walk just to avoid them. Would definitely stay at Andaz again but in hindsight would steer clear of the boardwalk.

End of year escapade

My second time staying at Andaz Bali, forth time for Andaz including Singapore. I find the service quality consistent across the different places, a unique experience I have not found with other hotels I stayed. Compared to our first stay at Andaz Bali, my breakfast experience was greatly improved. There was so little waiting time for my orders unlike the first time when it took quite a while waiting time. Good improvement. Will definitely stay again here.

Well maintained property. Room was very clean and comfortable. Walkable to nearby cafes and stores. Enjoyed breakfast at the hotel. Sanur Beach is ok but not as beautiful as Nusa Dua.

The hotel is extremely beautifully set in a great garden directly at the beach. The pool is fantastic and actually bigger then shown in the pictures. For the beach there are better spots in Bali but if you want to do water sports like Kite surfing it is perfect.

A newish hotel only 2 years old. The whole complex is perfect in every way. Andaz is at the beach which was safe and clean and with great swimming pools. Our room had a swim up lagoon which proved to be an added bonus A superb place to relax

Beautiful grounds and gardens, and staff incredibly warm and accommodating. Mini bar snacks and non-alcoholic drinks were complimentary daily including very addictive banana chips, and the on site restaurants all very reasonably priced and delicious, particularly Wok Wok with traditional Balinese cuisine. Breakfast being a la carte was also very relaxing, and the rooms were beautiful. Could not ask for a better escape.

This beautifully designed hotel is a lush haven to spend time in Sanur. The facilities are excellent, with a delicious selection of food available all day. Always space available on sunbeds by the pools or on the beach with free pool towels and bikes to use during the day. Our king size suite was a delight - spacious, cool and spotlessly cleaned daily. All the little extras in the room like snacks, coffees and cold soft drinks were well appreciated at no extra charge. Altogether a super base to stay for visiting the lovely island of Bali or to spend lazy days around the pools and beach.

Child Drowning Incident – No Lifeguards on Duty

If you’re traveling with young children, please be aware that this hotel poses serious safety risks, particularly around the swimming pool. While the property is beautiful and the staff are friendly and polite, our stay nearly ended in tragedy due to a lack of safety measures and proper pool maintenance. The main pool is poorly maintained, with broken tiles and sharp edges in multiple areas (see photos). I cut my foot on one of these edges, requiring medical attention from the hotel doctor. While I was being treated, my 2-year-old son fell into the pool and nearly drowned. Thankfully, an alert guest rescued him—no staff intervened. It turns out, according to the Duty Manager, that the hotel's official policy is that there are no lifeguards on duty and that hotel guests swim at their own risk. Apparently, there are signs to that effect scattered around the property. I saw no such signs on the property and if they exist, are not clearly visible. Nor is this No Lifeguards policy stated on the hotel's website. Had the pool been properly maintained, I wouldn’t have been injured and could’ve supervised my children. The absence of lifeguards at a supposedly family-friendly resort is a major problem. We won’t be returning. The hotel’s failure to ensure basic child safety overshadows its beauty and service. Until they install lifeguards and repair the pool, I cannot recommend Andaz Bali to families.

This was, without a doubt, the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The food was absolutely delicious, but what truly made my stay unforgettable was the warmth, kindness, and genuine smiles of the staff. They made me feel so welcome and cared for.
