"Excellent idea to book a room here! It is so nice to stay in a historical building (1569) and very well maintained. People are very friendly and the food they serve is simple and very tasty in a very cozy bar."

"Wonderful host, relaxed environment, very nice breakfast and attention from host. Clean, a little rustic, 10 minute walk to inner Colmar, a little close to highway but quiet at night. Bed and breakfast feeling. Very nice."

"Really super stay, so comfortable and warm. Large room with a fridge, coffee maker and kettle- such a bonus. Lovely view of the pretty street. Can drive along to drop luggage and free street parking around the town. Very historic atmosphere. Super breakfast with loads baked goods. Would happily stay again."

"A clean, comfortable and well-fitted out apartment in a delightful location. The hamlet of Hunawihr is remarkably peaceful but has numerous attractions within walking distance and is only a few minutes by car from the delightful Alsace villages on the wine route. Highly recommended."

"What a treat it was for us to spend two nights at Cottage 1956!!! From the moment we arrived, Michel made us feel Special!!! The apartment was immaculately clean and very modern with Beautiful details!! Our sleep was peaceful in a comfy bed and Wonderful pillows. The breakfast was farm to table and locally sourced, specifically described by Michel. Delicious!! Camille has a gentle and inviting smile. The two are hospitable and friendly. The location offered far more than we could do in two...

"Wonderful hosts and rooms and breakfast!"

"A beautifully renovated barn with all the charm. We had a wonderful stay with our two young children and dog. Every aspect of the stay was brilliant. The barn was toasty warm, the kitchen stocked with all appliances, the beds comfy and the lounging area relaxing. There is also a great sustainable ethos with the stay. The host was super friendly and knowledgable about the local area. I highly recommend and we will be going again."

"Een uitstekende tussenstop op doorreis naar Italië. Ruime kamer, schoon, prima bedden en vriendelijke mensen. Heerlijk gegeten ook in het restaurant. Een airco was gezien de hitte welkom geweest, maar gewoon een uitstekende plek."

"The host is very nice and friendly, we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend this place!"

"We had a lovely stay at Sohana Chalet! Clean, cozy and comfortable, with a great location — only 9 minutes from Europa-Park. Highly recommended! ❤️"

"Property is clean and close to Europa Park. While close, the drive seemed more realistic with kids. Staff is helpful."
