10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is a gem. It’s right in the center of old Palermo, walkable to everywhere. But inside the hotel it is tranquil and quiet. There are a lot of public rooms and a large breakfast buffet. Overall, a great find for staying in the city."

"The property is clean but the building itself is old, so there is a specific smell in the building ( not because is dirty is just old) we need to change the first room because of it. The stuff was super helpful and right away attentive. I thought there is a lobby with some tea or coffee if you need during after breakfast hours but unfortunately not. The person in the front desk got us a kattle for tea . It was super nice of him. We had breakfast in the hotel ( very good, lots of options) The location is fantastic, could be better then that. Walking distance to train/ bus station. Also to the stop where you can be dropped off from airport or if you need to go back to the airport ( 6 $) restaurants nearby and shopping as well. Overall very good place I would recommend!"

"Thanks to Expedia we had great deal for a 2 night stay in the villas away from the main hotel on the seafront overlooking the beautiful bay. Unfortunately the villa my sister was allocated was poky and completely in the shade under a big tree but the friendly helpful Reception staff were able to relocate her 1 villa away from mine. However, we were very disappointed with Breakfast facilities. Given the excellent position of the hotel, we would have expected to have an option to eat outside or at least with a good view but there were no windows. When we arrived for breakfast at 8am, most of the food had been taken by the big coach parties. Almost no fresh fruit and even the tinned fruit was not replaced. The fruit juice was heavily watered down & revolting. It was almost impossible to find spoons & teaspoons. The staff were very unhelpful & some of them quite rude. However, the scrambled eggs were very good & freshly replaced. You do need a taxi (don’t use Rosario he may be friendly but totally ripped us off in his battered old van!) or car to get to the little port where the cafes & restaurants are."

Hotel Sporting Club

8/10 Good

"Excellent service and lovely full breakfast. Great beds! Very clean! Our only disappointment was that you could not bring in your own food or alcohol, even water. Other than that, I would definitely recommend the hotel and the views of the sea were spectacular! Thank you from Ontario, Canada."
