"Nicely located comfortable and friendly. Condition of the hotel is a bit dated these days but the room was comfortable and quiet. There was no proper shower in the room only a jacuzzi bath (who uses those these days). Having a shower was difficult with a short lead shower hose. "

"This hotel was great! The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we were extremely happy with our stay. There was also plenty of off-street parking, which was great. The street right outside the hotel is pretty busy, and there are a lot of potholes. "All facilities were closed at the hotel and areas around the hotel were full of broken bricks. The fountain was not working and completely in disarray. Breakfast was really poor. No tea/coffee facility and we had to ask for food to be brought out. This is definitely not a four star hotel. On top of that, when we came back in the evening, there was no one to be found at reception for around an hour!!!!! So anyone could have walked in and around the hotel as they have no security as such, just...

"The rooms are amazing. The beauty of the castle and it's surroundings is spectacular. However, the parking is sketchy at best and nobody offered to help with our bags and it's quite the walk up the hill with two or three bags. My mother actually fell leaving the property Sunday. The wet cobblestones are slick and dangerous. They have a golf cart that could shuttle guests and their bags easily"
