"Stayed here as we where at a wedding not far away, hotel manager sorted our transport to and from the wedding wich I was so greatful, room very clean and bed was so so comfortable, breakfast was lovely overall lovely stay "

"The bed was comfortable and clean. Nice decor. Chairs were not comfortable, too low. Nobody on the premises during the night. No emergency phone numbers supplied. Very little in the way of literature about the area. Security of residents’ rooms was questionable. Members of the public had access to the stairs near the front door to the bar."

"Excellent fewdays in Hawick. Loads to do in Hawick, places to get food & drink excellent and Saturday's can have a real buzz about town if rugby club win. That said Hawick High Street is a bit tired looking & could do with a bit of money spent o it. It has potential to be an excellent visit venue. The Bank Bank House was top class. Donna (the owner) couldn't be more helpful. Ecellemt location, comfy, stylish & clean. Will be back next time im down in Hawick."

"Great location to explore the area from. Ian, the owner can’t do enough to help and the breakfast options are excellent. Absolutely would stay again."

"Great location, clean and comfortable room, but only after booking room did I find out that the hotel is not staffed and I would have to call to get an entry code, which required borrowing a bartender's phone to make the call, since I didn't have phone service in Scotland. All this happened very late in the day on a Sunday, where a missed call could have meant nowhere to stay in a small town. They need to change the procedure or give fair warning through Expedia before booking."

"Lovely pub atmosphere in the restaurant. The room was spacious, very clean and lovely. Breakfast was excellent. Would certainly recommend."

"A lovely place to stay in the beautiful Scottish Borders. I was made very welcome and the two hosts went out of their way to help - offering advice on places to eat and willingly providing an early breakfast on the Sunday morning. Breakfast was excellent with all locally sourced fresh ingredients. Room was very comfortable, really clean and quiet. Would highly recommend Bellevue."

"We enjoyed a fantastic 2 night trip over the bank holiday weekend. This was a lovely place to stay, beautifully decorated throughout, VERY comfortable beds, very clean. Its in a peaceful location (2 minutes from the Chillingham cattle visitor centre). Our host Mhairi couldn't have been more thoughtful or welcoming during our stay. "In the centre of Jedburgh. Amanda and Rob were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. "

"Our stay was disappointing overall. We were staying in the Family Room, but were not advised when booking that on our second night immediately below that room would be a rock band, performing until 10:30pm. Immediately below the Family Room!?!?!? The floor was literally shaking, which left us with 3 distressed children. A really appalling situation. On top of that, after a disappointing dinner on the first evening (our order was lost by the kitchen, so our food took 90 minutes to arrive, and...

"Lovely room in clean house in centrally placed location. Just a couple of negatives. No ordinary breakfast tea in room just coffee or chamomile tea. Lovely shortbread though. No t.v. stations just bbc 1. Plus no breakfast. Wr asked numerous times about breakfast and were told to see Christine. But unfortunately Christine never appeared. Think we had paid for it aswell. It didnt spoil our stay just disappointing. "

"We had a lovely, relaxing stay. The cottage garden was beautiful and we enjoyed the peace abd tranquility of sitting out, listening to the birds. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped and a great base for exploring Northumberland. "

"We loved our stay here. After a horrible nine hour journey we were pretty miserable when we arrived. However, when we saw the cottage we were delighted! The pictures absolutely do not do it justice. It’s well maintained, clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfy too. We were delighted to see the goats out the front the next morning and raced out to chat to them 😀 The owners are really friendly and can’t do enough for you. If we can face the journey again we will be back and for longer! "
