We arrived late - and the location was about 10 minutes into town to tavernas etc. There were plenty of available rooms so a little disappointing we weren’t given one with a decent view (instead we were stuck in the back which overlooked rubbish really). But otherwise nice little apartment and resort."

"The rooms are about 500m from the taverna pictured on the site. Rooms have no glass to drink water from the bathroom tap. Surrounds of builing in which the warren of rooms is has no tavernas or grocery shops from which to buy food. Car us needed to go downhill to tavern and back up to room after meal"

"Our stay at Casa dell' Aristea was truly magical! This guest house is so beautiful and rooms (we stayed in Sofia) are very nicely decorated, adding it to overall comfort. This place allowed us to feel like home away from home. Breakfast was delicious and we truly enjoyed chatting with Linda and Adriana!! This place is very special and we would certainly come back! Linda is a wonderful host and overall, we had a great experience at Casa dell' Aristea. Highly recommend! "

"The best thing about this place is its proximity to the beach, which is just over the road. It bears no resemblance at all to the photographs used online. The apartment was not clean, one of the beds had no bed linen, the kitchen was unusable, the bathroom flooded every time you used it. We even went out and purchased flip flops specifically for use in the shower. "This is a great place to stay on the edge of the old town. The owner was very helpful, she made sure we had everything we needed, and her thoughtfulness made us feel very welcome. We had a 1st floor balcony room which was excellent and we thought that it was worth paying the extra. The pool and courtyard space is very peaceful - with lots of thoughtful touches like free tea one coffee, and a dedicated drinking water tap"

"The villa was quite remote in the mountains but that is also what made it so special. We came from the seaside resorts which was busy and crowded and this was a beautiful respite. The view overlooking the entire area from their restaurant was breath taking and absolutely romantic. Taking a hike around the villa was invigorating and the villa itself was quaint but everything was functional - with tv access, hot water shower. In all, a fantastic stay!"
