"I booked this hotel primarily in the excellent ratings which I cannot understand based on my experience. The hotel is well located within the Colonial Zone however there were several detractors. First and foremost, the rooms don’t have any air-conditioning which is a major flaw in a city as hot as Santo Domingo. My room (104) was in the ground floor and was very dark with no sun coming through the windows. The breakfast was mediocre at best with very limited selection and the scrambled eggs were cold. The rooftop poll is small and the loungers are uncomfortable. Not a great experience in my opinion."

"No warm water shower was making noise and the Jacuzzi staff wasn’t friendly at all one ask for a late check out they agreed yet the card key wouldn’t open the door so had to go to the lobby so they can reactivate after I went up to the 20th floor"

"Nice place in the heart of Paseo Colonial. Downside of the rooms, unfortunately you can hear everything. Other than that, the place is excellent for solo a couple travelers. "
