The room is well clean, there is a variety of breakfast, good staff, ready to help. There are plenty of shops nearby. This is my second time there. I encourage anyone to there. On top of the price is right. Cataleya Hotel is my go to! Keep it up!

Nuestra experiencia en el Hotel Cataleya de Santo Domingo tuvo aspectos positivos, pero también varios detalles que deberían mejorar. Nos hospedamos durante dos noches. La ubicación del hotel es bastante buena, ideal para conocer y recorrer la Ciudad Colonial. Además, el desayuno que ofrecen es muy bueno y fue uno de los puntos positivos de nuestra estancia. Sin embargo, una de las habitaciones tenía un olor bastante perceptible a humedad, que se intensificaba al encender el aire acondicionado. La otra habitación estaba en mejores condiciones, pero ambas carecían de ventanas. Considero que este es un detalle importante que deberían informar claramente al momento de realizar la reserva, ya que puede influir mucho en la comodidad y en la elección de los huéspedes. En cuanto a la limpieza, las habitaciones estaban limpias cuando llegamos, pero al día siguiente no recibimos servicio de limpieza ni cambio de toallas. Tuvimos que bajar a recepción por la tarde-noche para solicitar toallas limpias. En general, el hotel tiene una excelente ubicación y ofrece un buen desayuno, pero necesita mejorar la ventilación de sus habitaciones, atender los problemas de humedad y garantizar el servicio diario de limpieza. También sería importante que informaran con transparencia cuáles habitaciones no cuentan con ventanas, para evitar sorpresas al llegar.

The property was within the colonial center and the breakfast included was good. Parking within 1 block walking Customer service was good. I didn’t like that the room had no windows There were no air purifiers so you could smell the humidity The sheets and towels were stained so although I believe there were clean, it seemed dirty No blanket in the room and only soap.

Staff was professional and welcoming. Breakfast was ok despite the fact that you have to walk to have it in another location. This could be a good idea thing for touring but could be challenging for some travelers.

The location is very good if you want to see the colonial zone. But we have issues that couldn't be solve even though was easy to fix, first the tv control didn't work, I went to reception 4 times and only got promises and nothing else, the same was for the key of the safe box, so all this time documents and money were unsecure during our stay.

El hotol esta bien ubicado, la limpieza bien, por lo meno el cuarto que me tovo (101) primer piso no esta mal. Agua caliente. Para mejorar, la caja fuerte no son confiable, la Tv no puder ver nada local. No tienen parking, si alquila un vehiculo tienes que correr toda la zona colonial. Ya que hay gente que ponen conos rojo para cobrarte, le llame la atencion a uno y hable con la policia de turismo y esto me dijeron que el parking en la calle es sin costo. Para desayunar es fuera del hotel al lado de rest. Jalao...muy bueno. Para estar varios dias en zona colonial el hotel esta bien y bueno precio. Recomendacion instale camara espia por si te llevan algo.. Todo muy bien
