"The hotel is in a beautiful setting with the golf course on site. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice but a little dated which I think is reflected in the cost. Overall a very nice stay."

"Disabled Traveller Review - We stayed in accessible room (101) which was very good. Massive room, plenty of sockets, a fridge, steamer, hairdryer, all excellent. The only issues we had was the bed was too soft, so hard to get in and out of if your mobility isn't good and the carpet is too thick to wheel a wheelchair easily around. The bathroom was great (so big we could have held a party in there!), but the floor is a real health risk, like a skating rink when wet and the toilet was way too low for a disabled toilet. However, despite my little niggles, it was easily one of the best accessible rooms i've been in and with breakfast included and access to the swimming pool, I will most definitely be back - just make sure you bring shower shoes."

"Driving up to the hotel it looked amazing, a beautiful building and gardens. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was a big space, let down a bit by stains on the carpet, and the furniture had stains on it. The curtains were a little tired and dusty. The windows could have done with a good clean. The paintwork and wallpaper could do with some attention. Also the cobwebs in the windows could do with being cleaned. The bed was comfy and we both slept well, the bedding was clean and fresh. The bathroom would also benefit from a thorough clean, and maybe a touch up on the sealant. My husband cleaned the shower head as a lot of the holes were blocked. Shampoo, conditioner and handsoap provided. Tea, coffee and water in the room but no little treats, like a biscuit with my tea :-). The full english breakfast was very good, staff were attentive and amenable. The breakfast room again needs a thorough clean as where ever we looked there was dust and cobwebs. Overall I felt for a luxury room and the money paid, (we don't normally pay this amount for a room but it was a treat for my birthday), it lacked a bit of finesse."

"This fairy tale cottage was a dream! It sat on a beautiful property with views of the flora and fauna from every window. It was peaceful and relaxing to go back to after hours of sightseeing each day. A boat was listed under the VRBO amenities, but it was a misprint according to the owner. Regardless of the boat or not, the home had plenty to do and offered many other tranquil options. We miss it already!"
