Our room was fantastic, in suite bathroom. Family room & breakfast area was nicely set up, plenty of space. We had taken the time to walk the property, very relaxing, peaceful & tranquil. On our way out on Sunday we were able to purchase some vegetables and farm fresh eggs. I wish I new about this B&B years ago when my daughter was a freshman at ISU, we would have stayed her every time. The family, Peter & Denise were wonderful to speak with. This is our new "go to" place, we will comeback...

The hotel is a beautiful old building with a comfortable and inviting look. The staff was friendly and personable. It felt like I was staying at a friend's house. My room was spacious and well appointed with a comfortable bed, and a desk. Amenities included a fridge, microwave, TV, and a jacuzzi tub. A fantastic breakfast is included with your stay. I could go on and on about how I liked everything about this place, but it really just boils down to this: they got all of the details right, and...

This hotel is only about 4 months old so it is bound to be in great shape, but the staff was extremely friendly.
Especially a young woman who worked Sunday morning at the breakfast buffet. She greeted everyone like
she had known them for years! She was so natural and happy. That is not something you can teach. Great hire!

The staff and front desk were amazing. We had a slight issue with our toilet in the room let the front desk know and it was fixed by the time we got back. The full kitchen came in handy since many nights we were gone late and we left early mornings before breakfast was served. I called the front desk the day we left after we got home and they were willing to go above and beyond to help find something that we thought we had left behind but we ended up finding it, but service was second to...

We enjoy staying at this property whenever we are in Ames visiting our college student daughter. The property is new, clean, well serviced and has Starbucks beverages and snacks in the cafe downstairs. It is located just off Duff Avenue, the major shopping and dining street in Ames, and is also close to several apartment complexes where students live. Parking is right outside the front door.

Excellent place to stay! Good location near ISU and los of amenities. Stayed in the 2Q suite. Large enough to have dining table. High ceilings. Larger bathroom. Super comfy single armchair. Quiet at night even on weekend. Very accommodating with our two dogs. The staff was fantastic! Helpful, kind and went the extra mile every time. Laundry facility and jacuzzi were awesome. Breakfast area is large with plenty of seating (unless it’s ISU move in week!). Decent hot breakfast. Good coffee. Will...

We love this hotel! We've stayed 2-3 times in the last couple of years. This last time was the best, starting with Michelle, who checked us into the hotel. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and just great in representing the hotel. Our room was fantastic, beds were so comfortable even after a full day at Adventureland. The shower had multiple adjustments, and it had these awesome shampoo, conditioner, and body wash pumps on the wall of the shower - they smelled wonderful! The pool/whirlpool...
