"The hotel and staff were great, it was a shame the restaurant only had one member of staff, but she was calm despite that! The food was good. Despite the ‘Don’t Disturb’ sign on my door I still had the housekeeping person trying to get in, hence the 4 stars. Otherwise a great stay"

We arrived really early from the States to check in at hotel but check in isn’t until 3 pm? The hotel staff went out of there way to help us get to our room asap.Young lady running the restaurant was equally helpful? We initially arrived to early to check in she allowed us access to restaurant for beverages and breakfast which was over the top. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Awesome experience in customer service and great hospitality. Highly recommend.

Top notch in all areas of a stay in Amsterdam. Had a corner room with glass on both walls. Just a great feel and elegance to stay. Would have given 6 stars if an option. Can walk to Musueum district. Even though it is outside Amsterdam, there are busses and trams, just across from the hotel, that take will you anywhere with ease. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices. The cost was also good and I booked online at hotels.com. Great place with great staff. I would recommend this to anyone going to Amsterdam!

Really the perfect hotel for the museum tour, in easy walking distance to all of them. The canal is lovely and quiet, tons of busy restaurants in a 4-5 block radius, lively night-life, friendly, busy, fun. Lobby recently renovated and very enjoyable with a view of the canal -- the breakfast service is superlative. What's not to love? If you stay, book a panoramic room, you won't be disappointed.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I was afraid to stay here because there were many negative reviews. However, I was actually surprised at how cleans and comfortable it was. The staff was friendly. And there is a major bus station that can take you anywhere in Amsterdam. I will definitely return because it’s a good value for the money.
