"First I would like to start off by saying the property was beautiful!!! We were informed that the property just opened in the month of April 2025 and it was breathtaking. However, when we arrived at the location, they did not have our reservations. Stating that they’ve been having problems with reservations through Expedia. Established in 1988 as a National Historic Site, the site preserves the home and estate of Frederick Douglass, one of the most prominent African Americans of the 19th century.
