"Location-wise probably as good as it gets - steps to Bell Tower and Kaiyuan Dept Store and other main tourist attractions like the Muslim Quarter close by. But hard to believe it’s classified as a 5-star hotel. No service staff AT ALL to help when we alighted along the curb on the first floor l, dinghy foyer. Lobby is on Level 2 but dim and poorly lit, even worse when we checked out in the morning as we had an early morning flight. Rooms smelt musty and worse, we found airport boarding passes in the bedside drawers dating back to 12 August!!?? Do they even check and clean properly? Would only recommend this for those on a short stay who want to be close to the main attractions. Otherwise there are definitely much better 5 star hotels in Xi-an."

"The Hotel is just small walk away from everything and is also a walking distance to the Bell and Drum Tower. The only problem we had was our room smells like cigarette smoke. But all in all the staff were friendly and helpful."
