"Lovely place on the "main street" close to the jetty and everything else. Everything was fine except for that the "breakfast ladies" never said hallo/welcome and always looked a bit angry."

"the houses were looking lovely on the internet and the house itself was clean and well maintained but it is more a hotel of value of 200 /300 reales per night. no more. the bed was cheap and terrible. the sheets were as thin as they could possible be and we didn't feel comfortable when we entered the room and found blood spatters on the wall and curtains. this doesn't fill one with confidence "

"Prestations conformes au descriptif. Petit déjeuner qualitatif. Établissement tenue strictement, il manque assurément un sourire ! Chalet trop près de la salle des petit-déjeuners, ce assure un réveil à partir de 7h45 ! Ce qui est dommage quand on choisi spécifiquement cet hébergement en dehors des rues principales du centre ville qui respire à priori le calme sur le papier, pour y trouver le silence ! Pour tout dire, je ne me suis pas senti à l'aise chez ce prestataire. C'est dommage au vue de...

"It was very cozy, with a calm vibe. There was a place to lay down and chill, or do yoga (mats provided). Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and very nice. The towels were big and fluffy. I would absolutely recommend! "

Fabulous stay on Ilha Grande!

"We had a wonderful stay at Pousada Ancoradouro! The front desk staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. The sea room was fabulous, and we had a drink on it looking out at the sea. The garden too is a great spot to read a book or have a drink. They also provide beach chairs that you can take out with you. Cleaners clean the room every day. The breakfast had a wide choice of variety and fresh eggs made how you like. Coffee was avaiable at different points throughout the day to which was an unexpected bonus. Overall we loved our stay and didn't want to leave!"
