"After a long drive it was such a fun surprise to see the welcoming birthday decor and balloons in our unit. The chocolates and congratulations handwritten note was a warm welcoming touch. The front desk staff were all nice and informative. The unit had everything we needed. Though not a super modern hotel, it didn’t feel cookie cutter. They even had a meet the staff and donuts / which we missed but got the leftover donuts since we arrived that afternoon :) We loved being able to do laundry, The convenient amenities , game room and fitness facility and hot tub we didn’t get to use much because we took train to Silverton but it was nice to know they were there. The place was very clean, the location was very convenient short walk to the station in fact train cars are stored right by the building! The walk was short and safe so that we did it multiple times with no worry."

"Hotel was a bit dated, however the price was right and mostly clean. AC unit was a bit noisy, but that seems typical at this price point. Hot tub was nice, linens were clean, but the bedding was maybe a bit questionable, kind of pilled lint on the bed sheets so I was 100% convinced it was perfectly clean. Beds appeared sunk in, but on sleeping were actually fine. Parking was tight -- early evening no problem but late evening on Saturday wound up on the street as there were no more spots. Surprisingly, the age of the hotel worked in its favor as it was quieter than expected from both street noise and other guests, like it was built out of concrete. We were street side and it wasnt a problem. Overall a decent value on a super busy weekend in Durango. Probably not our first choice but would stay again if needing that last minute budget option."

"Place was plenty clean the television was pretty boring the bed had a weird frame and anomaly of bars sticking out the bottom edge the room was nice and cool when we wanted it to be and warm when we wanted it to be the shower was nice the place could definitely use soundproofing in the walls every little noise of every little neighbor was ridiculous at times but other than that it wasn't a bad place to stay"
