Easy to find and located within a few kilometres from the A75 the hotel makes a very convenient place to stay when travelling south. The rooms are large and modern and the bathroom is extremely new and attractive with a walk-in shower area.The bed was comfortable and the area is quiet ensuring a good night's sleep. We were happy to roll into La Canourgue after a beautiful, if sometimes scary drive through Cévennes. The Hotel Du Commerce has decent parking, because it is also what appears to be a popular restaurant and bar. We weren't able to try the food, because we arrived too late and left too early in the morning. We checked in with the man at the bar; he was friendly and quick to help. Our room was spacious and clean. After checking in, we strolled around the town and found many interesting alleyways...
