"We had a great stay at The School House. The room was very comfortable and Helen was very helpful in providing a delicious breakfast so we could leave promptly to see the Manchester Marathon. There is a pleasant walk nearby (recommended by Helen) and we had a great meal at The Fox - just a short walk away. "

"We have stayed at this hotel 10 times now. Always a lovely stay. However on our first night we got woken up with a dog barking which ruined are first night. When we went to complaine the lady at the reception was very helpful her name was Alison. Asked if we wanted to change rooms and gave us a drinks voucher. I just feel we missed out on a relaxing stay."

"Excessive processes, bar codes, marketing. Reminded of airport check in. Targeting the corporate market. Spa area great. Bar/grill noisy, TVs, music, so lively if that't was you want."

"Hotel currently going through refurbishment in different areas. Got an excellent deal with B&B so needed hotel for Sat night in area so grabbed. Stated a Club room which was small but cozy. New refurbed but can see has been done cheaply. Existing damaged ensuite door, old bath with new panels just fitted.. if your gonna refurb, do it properly as looks poor. Pool OK but tub was like a washing machine, needed some de-foamer.. Breakfast was OK, box standard. 1 issue we had was disrespect of neighbouring rooms blasting TV in their rooms, finally had to complain to reception after midnight as was a joke. Would I return, yeah at a cheap deal."

"Pet friendly. clean room, with large parking area. it’s at convenient location on M6. Acceptable price and condition, but lack of facilities and amenities. It would be better if noise reduction for doors. pillow and mattress are more comfortable one."

"Property is NOT located on St. Mary's Close in Appleton as shown on the map, but is on St. Mary's Court in Latchford. I advised the host of this immediately after our visit at the beginning of July, but it has still not been corrected at the time of this post.The property is shown in its best light in the photos. In reality the standard of the accommodation is average at best. I complained after our stay about numerous minor issues, for which we received a limited refund. If you are lucky they may have also fixed some of the issues."
