This place is out in the country so if you are coming by bus call ahead so Francesca can arrange to have a taxi pick you up. If you want to go into town from the hacienda you will need to take a taxi. There is a wonderful country road that winds through the hillside that makes for a great walk. "My initial impression was dubious but on entering the building I was amazed at the beautiful and unique layout of the property. Although my bedroom (#4) was rather small, I was impressed by the high quality of the decorations. The shower facility was of a high standard. The rooftop terrace has been refurbished into a “chill out” area giving wonderful 360 degree views of the surroundings including a view of the distant castle. "This is a very unusual hotel. We had a superior twin room on the first floor with a huge balcony over a 300 ft vertical cliff. From your balcony, you have an open view of the valley below. The birds are flying below you, not above you. The hotel has a feeling of a very well-maintained old palace. The bathroom is very large. The level of services at the hotel is limited, but satisfactory. "
