"This is a very unusual hotel. We had a superior twin room on the first floor with a huge balcony over a 300 ft vertical cliff. From your balcony, you have an open view of the valley below. The birds are flying below you, not above you. The hotel has a feeling of a very well-maintained old palace. The bathroom is very large. The level of services at the hotel is limited, but satisfactory. "

"The hotel is located straight across from the Algeciras ferry port. Rooms were clean but keep windows closed at night to keep flying insects out. Tour companies are right next door where you can purchase a ferry tour ticket to Africa. I purchased a ferry tour from Tarifa to/back Tangiers for 50 euros. "Had a wonderful stay. Great place to kick back and relax after 2 weeks catching trains and buses all over southern Spain. This place is out in the country so if you are coming by bus call ahead so Francesca can arrange to have a taxi pick you up. If you want to go into town from the hacienda you will need to take a taxi. There is a wonderful country road that winds through the hillside that makes for a great walk. We saw early morning joggers, walkers and bicyclists out on this road. Breakfast...
