"Everything was clean. The staff was nice . The room was always cleaned every day"

"Staff was very friendly; the room was clean. I loved that fact that I could set on the porch and watch the sun over Chimney Rock"

"This is a good value for a budget motel- new mattress, clean sheets- nice fireplace heater. The motel attendant has autism, so if you keep that in mind you will have no problem (I can’t believe in this day and age people are so ignorant about people with different abilities). The rules are for safety and I felt safe staying here. I have stayed in worse for $35 a night"

"The property is very old and a bit run-down. No elevators. No charging point for cellphones near the bed."

"Recently remodeled motel is conveniently located in Black Mountain and is a great value. The room, bathroom, and linens were very clean. Staff was very friendly."

"Yes there's plenty of shops and restaurants within miles."

"Clean room and larger than expected."

"Beautiful courtyard, clean room and very friendly staff."

"Great Stay"

"Everything about the hotel was great! Our balcony had the most beautiful view for our first visit there, and breakfast was nice too! We plan on staying there again, perhaps in the Spring…we heard that’s a super time to go see it when everything is starting to bloom!"
