Everything was comfortable, and the blackout shades appreciated. We found the amenities a bit lacking. No toiletries, beyond liquid soap, provided and only instant coffee. "My wife and I spent two nights with Andy & Pip at the lodge at the start of our New Zealand vacation. They were great hosts, picked us up at the ferry dock, helped guide us with local transportation options (take advantage of the bus system to the local wineries) and Pip provided a wonderful breakfast that was a highlight of our visit. "I liked the size of the apartment and the cleanliness. It was a good base to visit the hospital. The parking was a little anxiety producing getting in and out but was a bonus as on site. The hand basin drained very slowly and I advised them. I would have like a scrubber to clean the pot with. It was spotless when we arrived but the dishwasher and soft cloth didn’t bring it back to that."
