"We loved the ambience of this place. Driving in at night was whimsical with mushroom lights guiding the way. The room was artsy and fun. Breakfast was picture-worthy and the hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. This felt like a great starting point for our Costa Rica trip with a more authentic feel."

"Me parece un lugar bonito y acogedor, la vista del balcón es espectacular y si se animan pueden ir a un tour de caballos. Don Hipólito y su familia hacen acogedor el lugar."

"The accommodations were both clean and spacious. However, the exceptional service provided by the reception and administrative staff truly stood out. I have a medical condition that necessitates traveling with refrigerated medication, and I inadvertently overlooked the absence of a shared kitchen facility. Upon discussing this with the administrator, I was informed that only the deluxe suites, which are a higher price point, included a refrigerator. Nevertheless, the staff demonstrated...

"We stayed here with 2 small kids for 3 nights. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, plays a kid friendly pool, and great breakfast. My only complaint was that the water in the shower wasn’t hot enough- to get a somewhat comfortable temperature you had to reduce the water flow to very weak.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to the ladies working at the wet bar - they were very kind to our kids."
"Went with a family of 5. Room was bigger and nicer than expected. Service was absolutely fantastic. Felt like there were more pools than people and even frequent downpours couldn’t ruin how amazing this resort is."
"The hotel is amazing. Great location and beautiful grounds. Food was great - kids were happy!
Rooms were immaculate. Only thing we needed were extra hooks and places to dry wet clothes. Would stay again and highly recommend."
"We loved our stay at Hotel Lomas del Volcan. It felt delightfully secluded from the main strip because of the design of the property. Having a little bungalow set in the woods was very relaxing - it was like being in an Ewok village! The staff was super helpful, and the breakfast buffet had a great selection of fruits. The swim-up bar had an amazing view of the volcano.
Getting to other locations was very easy. We did a lot of tours with the hotel, and we were lucky that the tours were not very busy, so we essentially had a naturalist tour guide for our family of four during the volcano trip and hanging bridges tour. We especially liked the caving tour."
"A truly beautiful resort. The service, food, amenities were all top notch. I had a perfect view of Volcano Arenal from my room and woke up to that beautiful view each morning. The resort is about 30 mins away from LA Fortuna so keep that in mind when booking. The breakfast, restaurant, and bar were all great as well. Highly recommended for families and friends trip."
"We had an incredible stay at Arenal Manoa! We stayed in one of the Chato Suites and the view of Arenal volcano from our patio was absolutely incredible. The private pool was super warm and incredibly relaxing after a long day of exploring Fortuna. The springs on property were great for that as well. The staff was helpful and visited our room twice daily for a clean and a turn down service. We always had enough towels for our family of four and even some extra sweets and fruit left by the staff. Couldn’t recommend Arenal Manoa enough!"

10/10 Excellent
"Staff are courteous. Breakfast is good . Property is well maintained. They even helped do first aid to my wife when she hurt herself. Definitely between nature and quiet serene place"
"We stayed in the Noah's Hideaway section of the Noah's Forest by Tifakara property, which is very new (opened in 2026). Truly spectacular. They spared no expense on all aspects of the villa, gorgeous (and notable) villla door, smart everything, integrated speakers, infinity pool/tub, 18 head shower, automated bidet, immaculate lighting, all in all, absolutely spectacular. And the rest of the details didn't disappoint either, delicious breakfast, very helpful staff for checking in (and very nice open air "lobby"). Would/will easily recommend this property to others."
