Birdlovers paradise. Each unit has private deck, perfect for drinking your coffee and watching/listening to the birds. The owners are very nice and offered to take us in a tour if the property- showing us the plants

Werner and Carlos are beautiful hosts and we really enjoyed the property and the delicious breakfast! We really appreciated that they immediately took the time to make a reservation to the Hanging Bridges and recommend a great restaurant. Thank you both!

The staff was wonderful, the owner was on site and took great personal care to ensure our stay was excellent. We travel all over the world and this place we will definitely be back to.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Very clean, and great breakfast that was provided every morning. Beautiful views and was very peaceful and quite. With that said, it’s within walking distance of all bars, clubs, restaurants, beach etc. in Tamarindo. Definitely would recommend. Staff was very friendly and nice as well!

Our family of three (2 adults and one six year old) stayed at Lucky Bug B&B for one night in April on our way from LIR airport to La Fortuna to break up our travel day. We selected the B&B based on other reviews and we were so glad we did. Check-in was easy and quick; we were greeted by Monika, Rob, and their cats and dog (which my son loved!). Great hotel in Santa Elena. In walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Convenient location for visiting Monteverde and other reserves. Nice room, great breakfast.

Refugio Lodge- I can say it’s a hidden gem! Opened just about two months ago by four wonderful owners, this charming bed & breakfast exceeded all my expectations. Simple, unique style; communal but also good for independent travelers who like privacy; great location - closest place to the beach I have stayed in Nosara (has a direct path through the greenery to a central beach location) and right in the middle to go either direction for local spots -- restaurants, surf shops, etc. Highly recommend.

Very private very secluded area . Jack and Karen are awesome. We loved hanging out and talking with them beautiful views beautiful beaches!
