"This is a nice little hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, not too small but accommodating enough for two. We had a nice view that we were able to see the ocean. This hotel don’t have any elevator & there is a small incline coming back from the beach & restaurant. "The swimming pool is huge, can easily accommodate scores of people. Rooms basic, but entirely sufficient for overnight stay. If staying longer, one might like to have a small fridge in the room, especially as no lunch services in the facility. (The two of us had a portable cooler that proved sufficent for out purposes during our one-week stay). Breakfast, dinner entirely satisfactory, the latter served 7-8 PM only. -- Price-to-room ration favourable"

"I had a nice stay at occidental however I feel the resort should update the lighting on the resort. At nite it’s pretty dark. And they need to have make sure your rooms are stocked with wash clothes. I went several days begging for wash clothes. I had to use the hand towels to bathe. And thank god one of my friends from the trip gave me one because she had multiple. And they also need to have options to eat after 10pm. "
