If you are looking for a great resort that is quite, peaceful, and to get away from everything this is it. The rooms looking over the ocean were scenic and it was just a short walk to the beaches. We absolutely loved this hotel from check in to check out and everything in between. It was close to the action, but far enough to where you didn't have to deal with noise. The back gate to the "alleyway" directly to central road was absolutely perfect so you didn't have to walk down the rocky dirt road near the front entrance. If you are looking for more privacy and looking to get away from the dust of the main road, this hotel is for you. The hotel is well decorated and equipped with conveniences like a good AC and a decent television. The staff are lovely and the owner is very accommodating and helpful. From Liberia Airport via a transfer arranged by the resort, I arrived at Pacific Kalokairi in dire need of relaxation. I was greeted warmly and shown to my gorgeous suite where I watched an incredible sunset over the ocean…the first of many. I chose this place because of the location. Its right on the sand on situated on the best part of the main strip near all of the restaurants and shops. Rolando, at the front desk greeted me with a very warm welcome and personally walked me around the hotel to show me where everything was. Who does that? It was great. Hotel was awesome, staff is great. If I had a complaint I’d have to say the cost of the food. 1st night of arrival got a hamburger, a salad, and the wife and I each got one drink. The bill was $75. From that point on we went and ate at Tamarindo. Our 1st day in Tamarindo breakfast, lunch, and dinner was $80 total!
