Overall a great stay. Excellent location with all amenities super close by. Easy parking included and a nice pool area. Rooms were very quiet with a very safe feel. There are no amenities with the room, but if you are looking for a room and quiet pool area it is perfect. I liked being off of the main beach yet close to it. Would recommend if you are not looking for a full service resort. We would stay again!

Good solid place. Totally excellent location with lots of restaurants, store, pharmacy, bank next door. Interesting travelers. Quiet considering close in location. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Say hi to Mara for me. She was the best!

Good location. Close to everything:: ATM, bus stop, restaurants, beach. Beautiful pool. Lots of trees so howling monkeys paid us regular visits. Mera in the office, is a real gem. So friendly and helpful. Recommend it without any hesitation. Would suggest to the owner to put a kettle in the rooms so that we could make tea and coffee.

Great location close enough to all the action yet far enough to avoid the noise. Great pool to lounge at or walk down to the beach in 5 minutes to watch the sunset. Lots of food and drink options and added security at night with a guard. Felt safe the entire time in town and around.

My fiancé and I stayed for three nights at Casa Nahua, we originally had only planned for one night but loved the place and location so much we decided to extend our stay there. The property manager was very accommodating, a really lovely lady who was happy to help with any recommendations or telling you more about the area. The location has a supermarket next door, is only a few minutes walk to the beach and has so many dining options close by.

Gabriela the owner was ever so cordial. We arrived after 20 hours of airline problems. Also a great deal of rain plus the shuttle from airport to the hotel did not show. We were exhausted. Our room was clean not over decorated but comfy. We slept well woke to more rain but Gabriella helped us detour the roadside runoff so could have a nice breakfast. Hard to judge property when it has been raining cats and dogs but we were welre welcomed with a smile and felt safe

The Casa Nahua is a little gem in Tamarindo. The room was fairly small, but clean and arranged sensibly. The bathroom was definitely recently updated and had a modern feel. Nice shower with shampoo and conditioner, both! And shower gel. The room has a smart TV so you can watch whatever streaming services you want to. The only downside to the room was that the fridge did not seal fully so it didn't cool its contents as well as it should have and we had to buy ice at the very nearby grocery store. The property is built into a hill and has so many trees, bushes, and flowers. It is so lush, especially around the pool area. Pool was very pleasant, and available night and day. We saw monkeys on the trees of the property twice! The best feature of the hotel is the very friendly staff. We were welcomed so warmly and by name when we arrived., The employee (Mere - I am not sure how to spell it) was really helpful with all of our questions and requests. Everyone else on staff were equally helpful and pleasant.

The pool is saltwater and has a nice private location. The pool was definitely our favorite spot of the hotel. We had the "Family Cabin" room as listed on Expedia. The room was basically as described with one queen and two twins on one level and then another queen on a 2-step raised loft level. The room was not terribly dirty but there were a couple of small spiderwebs and spiders in the corners of the room, and we saw the occasional ant scamper across the floor. The sheets were clean and there was a spare set in a nightstand. The heavy blankets seemed as though it had been quite some time since they'd received a clean. The water was hot and the A/C did work, although it smelled a bit musty and could probably use a cleaning. When we arrived, we did not see any front desk or reception. After five minutes of looking around I made contact with the owner via the Whatsapp chat listed on their website. He answered and came promptly and gave us our keys and two more towels for our family of 4. I actually quite liked the location of this hotel. It was still walking distance to everything in Tamarindo, but it was at least a block or two away from the super central, noisy action. There's a "Vindi" grocery store right next door to the hotel as well as a pharmacy.

Zentral gelegen und kleiner Pool in Innenhof. Die Bars der Umgebung sind ganz nett. Andererseits hört man auch die Feiernden bis nachts um 2:00 Uhr johlen und singen. Störend ist aushaltbar.

This place is disgusting and the owners are crooks. STAY AWAY!!!! Our room had bed bugs and cockroaches in the beds. Due to the bed bugs we left as soon as we could secure accommodation for our family of 6. We were forced to stay one night as no other hotels were available.our kids were covered in bed bug bites the next morning. The owners refused to refund us. They were rude and condescending. DO NOT BOOK HERE
