We had a lovely stay at Casa Leona. The rooms were spacious and clean with all the amenities included. The staff were amazing throughout our stay and the breakfast was delicious. Wish we stayed longer!! Definitely recommend.

Great place, great value, great location, great breakfast. The pool was a bit small, but the ocean and beach are only minutes away. TV was poor, if that's important to you. Stayed for 6 nights.

It was beautiful and relaxing, the traditional breakfast was very good, however, the room did not have a safe, and did not have a luggage rack, meaning we had to use the only chair for our luggage.

The staff member were very pleasant!! Breakfast pretty good, all fresh and the natural juice excellent. The room was clean. Only two details; the fan was very noisy. The tv was placed at 90 degrees from the bed, so we couldn’t use it.

We had a great stay here, we had a few teething issues which were quickly resolved by the owner when he was at the property the next day. We borrowed a surf board, which was a great option to have. The property is about 10-15 min walk to the beach, close enough to the main area but also far enough away to ensure it is quiet in the evening. They accommodated early check in and an early breakfast for us on check out day. We enjoyed breakfast each morning.

Great Quaint Stay

Checking in early is a bit tricky, but that's normal. The staff was super attentive. the breakfast in the morning was amazing and Daniela at the front desk was helpful. Everything was perfect. Prob the only weird/annoying this was that it seemed like there was always something going on during the morning - construction, or landscaping, something!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and cozy, which made my stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the breakfast. There were plenty of options to choose from, and I opted for the traditional Costa Rican Gallo Pinto with local tortilla. It was delicious—full of flavor and the perfect way to start my day after running the Tamarindo Marathon. The convenience of having parking spaces right in front of the hotel was a big plus, especially with the added security of a guard on the property. It made me feel safe and at ease throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to return!

Boutique style hotel

The hosts Evelyn and Brad were extremely accommodating and helped me with everything that I needed during my stay. Beautiful boutique hotel with nice suites. Wifi was good in the rooms which is important for me and is rare to find in Costa Rica. Great breakfast in the am. 5 stars.

This place is like a little gem, a little hidden but definitely walkable to town and the beach. Very surprised at how complete and delicious the breakfast was. They make it for you and it comes out fast. We will stay here again in the future.
