"The room wasn’t very clean, there was some garbage still I’m guessing when they cleaned didn’t sweep good or mopped. The sink had a drain strain and was dirty and it grossed me out because the water wouldn’t fully go down quickly. I didn’t even have a view through the window, it was high and covered with a lining so you couldn’t look outside. outside my room was an ugly area with a pile of dirt and black drapes, like they maybe remodeling or adding to the hotel. "Its a loveysetup😎 Super nice guys at dezk. Helpful. Lovely spot, quiet but can walk down beach or road to bars and restaurants. Downside is the no screens! And plenty ants and mosquitos. Nothing scree s wouldnt take are of. And ants everywhdre. Just put slme amdro around and tbdyd be gone too. Nice bunks in dorm but you couldd not open the windos for view because of no screens. Air conditioni g lovely. Breakfast nice! "

"Casa Mapache is a lovely place managed by lovely people. The spacious, clean room had a king size bed and two twin beds, which was perfect for our family of four with two "tween" boys who don't want to share a bed if they don't have to! "We stayed here in 2013 and it had a completely different vibe. This time we weren't greeted upon arrival, we weren't explained about the food and dining, the state of the property had suffered over 5 years and the road that went by the property had changed from a dirt road with little traffic to a paved road with traffic and traffic noise up considerably. That said, the people who stayed there for the yoga appeared to enjoy their stay although they may not have previously stayed there."
