"We loved it here! The food was amazing. The staff were so friendly. We got to see the most wildlife at our hotel, more than during our tours. Howling monkeys right outside our room, ant eaters, iguanas. I named the black and white cat by the beach bar ROCKY. He loves pets. Kevin was so awesome by the beach bar. Minor complaint is shower is brutal to wash hair and it’s very easy for bugs to get in so do a good check. We had a massive cockroach in our room and various other little bugs."

"Stayed here during a trip through Costa Rica and this place genuinely delivered. The location right on Tamarindo beach is hard to beat. You walk out and you’re basically already in the water. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and the AC actually worked well (always appreciate that more than the average person lol). The pool area was a solid spot to post up during the day, and the beach access made it easy to go back and forth without any hassle. Staff were friendly and helpful without being overbearing. They pointed me toward good spots in town and weren’t just trying to upsell everything. Tamarindo itself has a great vibe and the resort is right in the middle of everything, so getting to restaurants, bars, and surf spots was easy. If you’re doing a Costa Rica trip and want somewhere with a real beach feel that’s not overly touristy or stuffy, this is the move. Would definitely come back. 10/10 for the experience overall."

"We loved staying at Suite La Orquidea. The suite was clean and beautiful. We felt safe and well-cared for. Sergio was a wonderful host. He answered all our questions quickly. There are three suites in the complex. Each suite has a bedroom and a bathroom. They share a patio, garden area where the pool is, and a covered, outdoor kitchen area. Tamarindo is a five minute drive away. There are many shops, eating places and grocery stores around the area, some within walking distance. Tamarindo Beach is a short five minute drive. There are so many activities and tours in the area as well. We had a great time!"

"Everything about our stay was better than expected. The villa was incredible, even better than the photos. It’s truly a magnificent property with incredible sunset views. The staff was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience "

"We were very disappointed with our stay here. The reviews that we saw of this property did not reflect the experience that we had so I would like to give a honest review of what to expect here for anyone looking in the future. First the host Toni was very helpful and kind when she met us to check in. She gave us local recommendations and information that helped us. First thing to know about this house is it right next to the main road going into Tamarindo and you will hear every car and motorcycle that drives past during the night, we unfortunately were there during a very busy time but our entire group wasn’t able to sleep because of the noise all night. You will need ear plugs. Second the cleanliness of the home was disappointing, we took many pictures of the piles of dead bugs, mold, dirty toilets. It felt uncomfortable and not maintained. Bugs everywhere, we understand that we are next to the water and that could be any issue but of the many places we have stayed in Costa Rica this place was the worst by far. I know it is common but the sewer system is delicate and flushing of toilet paper was not allowed. Something I think should be advertised. On the positive side, the location in reference to the beach is nice, about a 5 min walk to the main beach. The estuary that it over looks has Crocodiles and is not a safe place to swim. The outdoor area is very nice, has a very nice pool to lounge and fire pit to sit around. Definitely where you will spend most of your time. "
