"Playa Manzanillo beach extends over miles and is much less touristy than Santa Theresa. If you are looking for a little peace on the Nicoya peninsula this is a great spot. The house is brand new, you have a beautiful wooden terrace, views on the surrounding hills, the master bedroom has the same gorgeous view. It’s like you immersed in nature. It’s a great place to get back to from your daily adventures. It has all the connectivity and privacy you need if you are working and want to surf/ enjoy the beach on your free time. The owner was very responsive."

"We had an amazing stay here. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need. Everything was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and watching the monkeys, as well as the short walk down to the beach to surf. There are a couple of good restaurants within walking distance and it’s a short drive to town. Overall, it was a fantastic trip. We didn’t want to leave! "

"The best part of our stay was the communication with Kristi, the owner. It began before we even arrived. In fact, she helped us with our ferry booking so we had a ticket when we arrived at the ferry terminal. As I told her, I’ve never experienced an owner sharing olf their time as she did. Responses were immediate every time. Information and recommendations were accurate.The beach! If you like beach walks with great sunsets, do not miss this one! We did several 4 mile walks on a beautiful beach that offers plenty of shade breaks when it gets too hot.The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and spices, which allowed us to cook several delicious meals.Beautiful decks on both floor levels with a great view of the beach.One warning- the driveway is steep with loose gravel. Nothing requiring four wheel drive, but steep enough you will want to have a little speed to get up it. Very minor but worth being aware of.The restaurant right at the corner of the road is a very easy walk and the food is excellent. Good choices on the menu.Great visit! Great location. Great owner!"

"To say our space was incredible is an understatement. It was gorgeous, spacious and so comfortable. Morning coffee on the balcony was one of the many highlights. The groundskeeper was wonderful and yet not intrusive. Our concierge was excellent, responsive and beyond helpful. Our daily housekeeper was a treat and also not intrusive. Steps from a gorgeous beach and wonderful restaurants. We will be back!"
