"My family of 4 absolutely loved this property. One of the most unique places we have stayed. The craftsmanship of the boutique bungalows is excellent. High ceilings and very well appointed "A-Frame" individual rooms. The owner and staff are very friendly. After 3 days we felt like family. We loved the morning breakfast. Tina the Chef helped prepare fresh fruit, french toast, scrambled eggs every morning. She even made Pico De Gallo for me at my request! "Willie" the concierge/host was the best. He had great advice for all our trips, and helped book a couple of restaurants for us, and a zip-line trip. The owner "Shaq" is very friendly and also advises on trips and things to see. It was fun to learn the history of the property from him and history of the Santa Teresa. I've been vacationing regularly in Costa Rica since 1998 just to give perspective. We hope to be back. "

"Top knotch!! Absolutely wonderful stay. House was so beautiful and beds were sooo comfy! We had a party of 8 and fit perfectly. Close walk to yummy breakfast and the beach. Communication with Andre was amazing. She answered everything so fast and had great recommendations. We will definitely be back!"

"One of one beach front property with a nice dipping pool to cool off after soaking in the sun steps away on the beach. The property is exactly as described and Richard was an outstanding host - easily accessible with support on site. "

"We loved our stay. It was like having your own private retreat. Roomy for 2 people, clean and our hostess did a great job of making the check in process smooth, was informative about the area and prompt in responding to questions. The cleaning lady came 3 times a week and was very nice. It was convenient to have your own laundry. The small pool was refreshing and very private. The location is close enough to everything yet removed enough for privacy. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach but either a 4 wheeler which many use or a rental vehicle( get at least an SUV not a low riding sedan due to the condition of the roads) is necessary to get to many of the restaurants or other beaches. Everyone we met during the trip was nice friendly and helpful. Not everyone spoke English but many did. If you like a little bit of adventure and beautiful beaches ( many a short drive away you often have mostly to yourself) this is a great place to go. "

"Lovely! A quiet jewel just 10 minutes outside the Santa Teresa's main district. Great adults-only resort, terrific restaurant, lovely beach, great rooms, wonderful massage. The resort, rooms, beach club, beach, staff and experience are all top notch. Can't overstate how excellent the restaurant is, whether breakfast lunch or dinner. The pool may be the only slight knock - it's lovely and unique, but small and accessible to only a few villas. But we didn't actually care. The beach club, beach, Santa Teresa, and neighboring Montezuma were all charming enough to make this a great experience. You'll want / need a car if you stay here. Relying on open ATV would be bad - you'd be covered in dust from the 10-15 minutes of dirt road between Blue Mist and Santa Teresa. We rented a 4wd Bronco from Liberia, which made the 4 hour drive in regular mode and last 15 minutes of gravel rough road in 4wd no problem. Nearby: Nami (best sushi in town / 5 min from Blue Mist), Katana (best restaurant in town), Pronto (best italian in town), Umi (best night beachfront bar experience), Tipsy (best wine shop) Tour: From Blue Mist we booked a Montezuma Falls guided hiking trek with Grasshopper Tours. Make sure to get Ernesto - a truly lovely local who literally grew up hiking and playing in the falls before it was a tourist destination. A great guy! We booked a Zumi tour to Tortuga Island from Montezuma village. Tour good, snorkeling fine, Island was boring, but we loved the town of Montezuma!"

"This is an exceptional property located just steps away from a slice of paradise. It is a beautiful modern home just steps away from the white sand beach. The perfect location to take in the stunning sunset. Richard takes hosting to a Concierge level. He went above and beyond to help us with requested arrangements. It is a rare find to discover someone who goes beyond expectations….all you need is Richard!! "

"We loved Casa Cecilia! The staff are all amazing. Natalia and Annabel were always ready to help with anything! The kitchen, cleaning and security staff were also extremely friendly. The location on the beach was fabulous and its proximity to Rocomar for drinks and lunch is perfect. We loved hanging out and chilling at Casa Cecilia. We spent five nights and were so relaxed by the end of the trip. The ambiance “makes” you wind down and relax. The rooms are a little tired, but very clean with great air conditioning. If you want fancy, Casa Cecilia is not your place. If you want a good value, friendly staff, a super location and yummy breakfasts, Casa Cecilia is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to go back! "

"We had an excellent stay! We are an older couple and my husband gets up at 5 am daily for his coffee and we were not sure about the shared kitchen and it turned out to be one of our favorite things because we were able to meet and socialize with so many other people from all over the world! We had some chairs we could use to carry to the beach, the beds were the most comfortable we had on our entire 3 week stay in Costa Rica. Our host was fabulous and she did everything she could to help us have an amazing time. The traffic from the street takes a little getting use to, but so many other benefits outweighed that. The beach is like a two minute walk away and a fun bar sits right on the beach near the bungalow’s. It’s a wonderful place and we will be back!"
