"We had a great time here! The few negatives: the bed was really hard (but it was nice to have a king size bed), the room was cooled by an old school ac unit, which was loud, and kicked on and off, and the room was very dated and not very sound proof. I heard the birds early in the morning, very clearly. HOWEVER, I know they're slowly renovating the rooms so I'm giving allowance for that. The staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. "Pleasant stay with beautiful views! Wayne met us at the entrance, check in was quick, walked us to our room, showed us around and brought breakfast the next day. Quiet spot. Balcony was perfect. Decor was a bit dated but didn't hinder the stay on bit. We had a bump in our schedule on the previous reservation and he was so accommodating, we were able to rearrange. We will definitely be back. Great experience. "

"This place is amazing! Coffee on that deck overlooking the lake just hits differently. Everything you need. Kids loved it. They enjoyed the lake and outdoors during the day and had the whole downstairs to relax at night. Very nice place!"

"This place was beautifully and stylishly decorated and very clean. Pictures do not do the place justice. The main bedroom is very good sized. The second bed is up a narrow spiral staircase that our kids enjoyed…but I am not sure we would have enjoyed climbing up and down so much. There isn’t any sort of view out the windows, but that didn’t bother us since the lake was steps outside the door. Plus, the location gives you access to all the recreational equipment at the campsite next door...

"The property grounds are well taken care of. Check-in process was easy. You will need to bring all toiletries, toilet paper, detergents, soap etc. The brakers constantly tripped in the kitchen and throughout the house so making food, coffee, charging items was made difficult. We unfortunately had to use one of the recreational spaces to make our toast and coffee for breakfast. Dinner one night took about two hours and a half hours because of the electrical issues. "We came to see the solar eclipse and were lucky enough to find this gem! Three families stayed at the lodge and there was plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable, plenty if firewood for several nights of fireside chats, and lots of fun fishing at the ponds. Chris was a wonderful host! If there’s ever a reason for us to come back to this area, we would definitely want to stay here!"

"Wonderful location out in the woods! The kitchen had all the dishes we needed to do our cooking, and there were plenty of towels available. The host/hostess was very responsive to my questions, and provided me the door key as soon as I requested it. The inside is very well decorated and taken care of. We really enjoyed having the pool table and long kitchen table for family interaction. Note that aside from outdoors and the kitchen table, there is not really a place for everyone to gather around...
