"We had a wonderful time staying at this Hampton location largely due to the front desk staff, Ashia. Our party was tired and hungry from a day of touring Washington DC. The front desk staff Ashia, was polite and attentive to our plight, she made our check- in painless and gave us an excellent recommendation to a walkable dinner location. Later that night, some long-lost friends drove to see us in the hotel common area, a visit that lasted for hours. Again, Ashia made sure we were comfortable, checking on us to see if we needed anything, keeping the coffee pot full and even provided us snacks on the house. The hotel itself is very clean, updated, and provided good breakfast. However, it was Ashia who made our stay absolutely wonderful."

"Our only complaint was the average tasting and prepared breakfast food. Rubbery waffles, tasteless eggs, dry sausage, bland orange juice. We’re not expecting gourmet food but this food was definitely not acceptable, given what we paid for our stay."
