"We have booked in the annex building a little bit away from the main hotel area. At the reception, we have been upgraded to the main building in a better room. Staff is very nice, the facility in good shape and the area amazing."

"The hotel has a very traditional and warm feel. Although there's no elevator, it still feels great. Beautiful setting and easy parking, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. It was good value for money and a very pleasant stay."

"Good location in the centre of Geilo. We had a two bed apartment with a lounge area, kitchen and bathroom. Very comfy bed.
Downsides, you can't specify where in the block you want to be. Although we booked over 6 months ago, hoping for a view, we found ourselves on the ground floor looking over some sheds/shacks with very little view of the spectacular scenery.
Also, obtaining the key relies on a mobile phone with access to the Internet as there is no person at a reception on site to help. "
