"Upon arrival I had great impression of the hotel, friendly staff, nice big room, big breakfast spread. However, my room was supposed to have “city view” but it was street view which the front desk girl thought it was the same thing. My unsatisfactory came the day after when I needed to send a small package of gifts to a local relative in Cascais. Carlos at the front desk was very helpful and helped me with the prepaid shipping label on their postal office website, which I’m very grateful for his help. However, unbeknown to him that the package couldn’t be dropped off at the Locky Box if it’s created on the CTT website. (I learned that from a Uber driver, after three attempts at different locations.) Because it was weekend and my flight back to the States was at 5am on Monday, I asked the girl at the desk in the evening if someone could drop off my package at CTT office on Monday. I asked a favor, and I offered to pay for it, but the girl said that it was a personal favor and that they don’t want to be responsible for it. And, when I picking up my suitcase and leaving the hotel, two girls at the front desk didn’t even acknowledge me, didn’t say hello and goodbye. The Bell boys, and the young men at the front desk during the day shift were all very pleasant. I moved to a hotel by the airport to accommodate my early flight, they were happy to help me with my personal favor! Overall, the hotel is great if you don’t mind the long distance to the historic town. "
