"I live in NY and often stay in the city for work. I booked this hotel as it was reasonably priced (although $530 is still quite expensive). It was a horrible experience. The water was brown, so we had to wash our hands and brush our teeth with bottled water. We couldnt shower. When I tried to call the front desk, I discovered that the phone was broken. When I approached the front desk, they said that they had put a note on the elevator about the water issue. No one informed me when I checked in. The paint was peeling, and the room was poorly furnished. I do not recommend this hotel."

"This is our go-to hotel when we come to town. Rooms are a good size and pillows an beds are comfortable. Staff is so kind and accommodating Collette at check in was great and gave us a bottle of Prosecco after telling her we were celebrating my friend's 65th BD. Loved have daily breakfast and coffee service in the morning and an evening cocktail listening to jazz in the eve. Lots to do at The Roxy, we love it"

"Newly renovated room was a decent size for NYC. Very comfortable, new mattress. Well decorated and functional. Above basic needs/quality. Club Level room with nice b-fst room and snacks and deck. "

"The hotel is central and it was easy for our party to get around the city. The only thing is the rooms are extremly small. The hotel was clean and supper fun roof top bar. "
