"The house was great. Very clean. Everything was labeled (light switches, kitchen cabinets, etc.) Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and eating. Lots of towels, extra pillows, blankets. We would definitely stay there again if we returned to Carlsbad."

"Owner was easily reached for communication and the house was clean and ready for our stay … it was appointed just as noted in the listing and perfect for our needs."

"We enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable. My son slept in the office. He liked the privacy but he said the middle of the bed sunk a few inches away from the wall so he didn’t sleep well. We didn’t know if it was a folding bed that might not have locked the whole way or not. Other than that, he liked it a lot. Didn’t take long to get to the caverns. Very enjoyable trip!"

"The location of the house is perfect for walking to the water park, splash pad, play ground and swimming beach on the river. The house itself is in disrepair. The owner appears to be in the process of remodeling but if you are squeamish about poor bathrooms, open electrical outlets, or walls/floors that are not finishes then this is not the rental for you until their repairs are finished. "The property was as advertised. The neighborhood was nice for taking an after supper walk."

"Poor, unattractive neighborhood, dirt front yard without any landscaping and an old Dryer sitting on front porch, near front door. Living room looks baron with only a couch against one wall and TV. on the opposing wall. It is the only TV in the house, none in any bedroom, no dishwasher, no family dining area, no mirror in master bedroom, not even in connected half bath (over the sink?). Toilet paper too far to reach in main bathroom. Completely disappointed in property and price."
