"Clean, comfortable room. Shower incorporated with the bath which was tall and not so good for older people. A little step was provided but it still could be a problem for some. Breakfast was superb. Staff were all delightful"

Dim lights might be romantic but a dressing table with a proper lamp so you can see what you look like is essential! Hot water in bathroom basin very slow in coming through and the toilet seat is misaligned "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our mini winter break at the Cowshed! Wendy and Mark welcomed us warmly on arrival and ensured that we settled in smoothly. The location of the Cowshed is perfect - pretty and peaceful, and within easy reach of a multitude of spectacular walks. We loved warming up in front of the cosy fire at the end of each day, and we all slept soundly in the comfortable beds. The underfloor heating in the wet room is pure luxury! "

"Gorgeous house in a fabulous location! The owners were on hand to show us round and left us an amazing cake. The house was beautiful, clean, and very well equipped. Fantastic walks from the door. The hot tub was lovely, beautiful garden, would highly recommend."
