"Amazing stay at this property! The property was clean, simple, and very convenient as it was merely a 5 minute walk to the nearest train station. The owner of the business personally took the time and effort to make our stay as enjoyable and accommodating. Breakfast was provided and there were plenty of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. The genuine hospitality and friendliness of the owner himself truly made this experience personable and one of kind. We definitely will recommend this...

"We stayed here for a week. It's a bit out of the way so there are less crowds, but you only have to transfer once to central Tokyo from Ikebukuro, and it is a lot more affordable and we got to do so much more! Beds were super comfy, lots of room and had a lot of amenities available. Staff were really friendly as well and were always willing to help, even providing some advice in English when we needed it. Tokiwadai had a really cozy local vibe and had a lot of good restaurants, convenience stores, chemists, and the train station/bus, all within 5 minute walking distance. The hotel also has vending machines and coin laundry on the first floor. If you are considering staying here, just go for it! I would love to stay here again the next time I visit Japan."

"This hotel is in a town called Wakoshi which is on the outskirts of Tokyo in the Satima prefecture. I like this hotel area more because it’s not quite as busy as Tokyo proper. The hotel is perfectly placed within the train station and is surprisingly quiet. The overall quality, for the low price is excellent. The hotel is very clean, modern and well furnished. The staff is always helpful very professional and quite nice. I especially love the free coffee machine in the lobby. There are many restaurants around the hotel and a quick train ride to everything in Tokyo."
