When not our touring the charming small Tuscany towns, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the back porch and pool area. We kept the windows open and enjoyed the sweet breezes blowing through. "This is a perfect villa in a perfect location. The interior is excellently equipped and is very comfortable and spacious, and the multiple external relaxing/dining areas are ideal for enjoying the incredible views in every direction, whilst the large pool is perfect for cooling off from the summer sun. The whole villa was spotlessly clean and tidy, and the gardens were beautifully maintained. Luigi provided very helpful information about the villa and surrounding area in advance of our arrival, and was regularly keeping in touch during our stay to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. We enjoyed the most amazing two weeks in this fantastic villa, and we would not hesitate to return if we get the chance to do so again in future. Thank you, Luigi. "

"Fantastic property with stunning views - especially of the sunsets each evening. The kitchen has everything that is needed (and more). A really good sized pool, large beds and en-suites for every bedroom was such a bonus. The owner, Luigi, is so approachable, friendly and helpful suggesting places to visit and even organising a vet visit for our dog to have his medical check before our journey home. Montisi is a perfect Tuscan village beautiful but without the tourists and has a couple of bars, a couple of restaurants, a small shop for emergencies and someone who offers a watercolour painting session whatever your ability (would really recommend this with Elizabeth Cochrane)"

"We recently stayed at Villa Ampella la Torre and have nothing but great things to say. The communication with both the owners and the caretaker before, during and after our visit was exceptional - particularly their care, attention, and advice they gave on visiting local attractions and booking a private chef through the Tuscan Chef (highly recommended). The house is beautifully decorated, new, clean, spacious and well equipped, and the pool there is amazing. While we had a couple of issues with the AC and water supply, these were immediately addressed (despite us saying there was nothing urgent). Their caretaker is so lovely and went out of her way to ensure we were enjoying our stay. The only reason we did not rate the location as excellent is due to the distance from other amenities (e.g., groceries, restaurants, etc.), but the property is beautiful and the views are stunning. We would absolutely recommend staying here and hope we have the opportunity to return one day. Sincere thanks to our hosts and Jirina for making this an unforgettable vacation. Grazie mille!"

"Agriturismo La Coppa offers the true Tuscan experience. Our apartment was on the first floor. We had our kitchen. On our 2nd night, we ate a meal that Signora Anjela made and it was superb! We were stuffed to the gills! And the flavor of the different kinds of food was top notched! They also have 4 cats in the property which are very sweet. This property is at the end of the road, and overlooking the Tuscan hills. Signora Anjela is very attentive to your needs. We just txt her through Watsapp and she comes knocking at our door. She doesnt speak much english but we used google translate to communicate. She even initiated using the app. La Coppa has trully exceeded our expectations. They have helped me check off my Tuscan bucket list. Grazie mille La Coppa!"

"We found the facility, very clean and the manager was very understanding and nice. A very nice asdortment of foods for breakfast was available. Would highly recommend this charming accomodation. "

"Upon checkin was notified the hotel no longer operated a restaurant although their listing on Expedia said they had one and their own website lists a restaurant. No dining options for dinner and no breakfast available. No coffee or tea in room, not even a microwave. Listing also mentions a tasting room for wine-- none to be found. Place is very far from town so a car is a must-have. Place was deserted yet there was obviously a rambunctious family above my apartment, which had an overwhelming stench of RAID bug spray the entire time I stayed. Reception is inside an interior courtyard and does not open until 9am, I left the keys in the door as there was no drop box. Do not stay here. Property is allegedly in litigation limbo due to their wanting to renovate, but take my advice and stay literally ANYWHERE ELSE."
