"LOVELY STAY IN ONE OF THE COTTAGES JUST DOWN THE ROAD FROM THE PUB WAS EXPECTING SOME NOISE AS IT WAS DURING THE FOOTBALL BUT IT WAS SO PEACEFUL DIDNT HEAR ANYTHING, LARGE COMFORTABLE BED, HUGE BATHROOM WITH WALK IN SHOWER, SHORT WALK TO THE VILLAGE AND RESTAURANTS . BIG FAN HELPED WITH THE HEAT AS IT WAS AROUND 33 THAT WEEKEND WOULD DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN."

"We stayed for 2 nights in the family room which had a lovely comfortable king size bed, ensuite with large walk in shower and air con which was a God send. Very clean and quiet. The staff are lovely, food and drinks reasonably priced, breakfast choices good. The beer garden needs some attention but is secure if you have children or a dog. Steep stairs to the rooms which were a bit difficult with our elderly dog but over all a great stay. Please note, although very dog friendly they do charge...

"The location was absolutely brilliant as it's so central although be aware that this is a lively pub so if you want a quiet stay it's maybe not for you. I went with a friend and we loved every minute, so much so that we're going to make it a yearly visit. Our rooms were clean with very comfortable beds, the staff are, without exception, super friendly, as is the Manager. We can definitely recommend the breakfast as it's wonderful!"
