"This is a very nice hotel right next to the Ashford International train station. You can walk back and forth easily. There is an Aldi supermarket less than a block away. There is Bridge Cafe next door. The room was very nice, roomy and comfortable. The morning breakfast was standard fare. Definitely recommend this hotel. "

"We had a wonderful time in this gorgeous house, which was so generously, comfortably and beautifully furnished and the very kind owner has provided all that we could possibly wish for. Very quiet place and spotlessly clean! We received a sweet welcome card and welcome gifts from the hospitable owner, plus some nice communications via email, to make sure we were happy and the house was all fine for us! Magical beautiful large garden,with lovely seating and wonderful lighting in the evenings. The house is well situated to visit to all castles and gardens and some nice towns, which Kent has to offer. My husband and I had a lovely stay for 11 days and for 5 days of these my family with their lovely two teenage daughters came to stay from abroad and all loved the house very much too. We had breakfast in the wonderful garden every day, as we had wonderful weatherl! Just a wonderful stay! And we will certainly look forward already to go back again in the not too distant future! Thank you to Chris for his wonderful hospitality!"

"Carol was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome upon arrival. We got to pat one of her adorable dogs and see cute sheep out the window every day. Lovely place to stay if you like quiet and a rural location! Some of the roads close to the cottage are one way just to bare in mind and we had deer crossing where the woods are one night (which we were very excited to see!), so please drive carefully. Cottage was nicely decorated and comfortable, and with a smart TV which was an added bonus! Will definitely recommend to family and friends :) Thank you so much for a lovely stay! :) "

"Given wrong key code upon arrival i had to contact to get the right one, no Hot water, Internet was not great had it sometimes other times it was not working, Out of my 3 days the first day i had to clean the dishes and pans as they still had food on them, urine left in the toilet when arrived and there was a smashed window covered with tape, I was more worried about safety. The latch on the back of the door doesn't close so you cant lock your door, I did stay local due to worrying if someone would enter or not The stairs up are quite hard if your coming with a bigger case metal fire emergency exit used for entrance to the property I was contacted on the second day to tell me i needed to pay an extra £45 for the child and £25 small emotional support dog 4kg as they seen a buggy on the camera but the buggy was the dogs it does state service animals exempt from fees. All a bit too stressful and I did go to relax so it wasnt the holiday i expected in the end "

"Beautiful, compact barn in a beautiful, quiet setting. Has a useable garden too. You will need a car to stay here. Beautifully decorated, enough for 2 adults as its very compact. We had ice cream, eggs, milk supplied which was nice too. Downside is that the check in is late at 4pm and check out is very rigid at 10am, we asked for an extension,even 30mins as we had a baby, but they said no (I did also check and the property did not have anyone coming to stay when we were checking out, so we would have loved a bit of flexibility). There was alot of dust-fluff behind the TV and bedside cabinets, but not a huge issue. The only reason I raise this is because we were also informed we can't have a later check out because of the cleaners and sadly to see this was ashame. Apart from that, great weekend away. Would highly recommend if the timings work for you. Note that there are no shops locally so you will have to do a shop on your way or use uber eats! Thanks for a lovely weekend away in the countryside :-)"
