1. Grecotel LUX ME White

Grecotel LUX ME White
5.0 star property
Rethymno
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (192 reviews)
"The property was very clean and well maintained. All of the staff were extremely friendly. Overall the food was very good. Not at all the properties fault but it rained 2 of the 4 days we stayed at this resort. A lot of this resorts amenities (ping pong, full size chess) and even some of the a la carte restaurants do not operate when it's raining. And with everyone needing to be inside, the common area's felt a bit cramped."

"Das Hotel ist eigentlich ein Traum. Die Zimmer sehr sauber, dafür alles andere nicht so. Hier dürfte etwas mehr gemacht werden. Leider auch beim Pool. Mit sehr wenig könnte man da etwas wundervolles machen! Die Lage fanden wir super! Einfach nur Ruhe pur! Wir würden da wieder hin."

"Comfy, clean, spacious room with kitchenette, lovely clean bathroom and a balcony. The apartments are located behind the main drag so are nice and quiet. Nobody at reception when we arrived and room not ready so we had to busy ourselves elsewhere for a few hours. Thought we were paying by card on line but seemingly not - ended up paying in cash at the owners request. Overall - room really nice; service not bad but not great."

10/10 Excellent

Superb stay at Veneto. Arrived early and asked for room with outdoor patio which was quickly taken care of. Room was gorgeous as is entire hotel. Anastasia at the front desk is a gem and helped me with customs shipping label to send package to US, laundry service and many other things. Restaurant was closed due to off-season but was able to get a bottle of wine as they have wine selections available and even wine tasting during peak season.
