"The facility and room were nice. A couple of things to consider - it is out of the Lyon city center and takes a bit to get to. Also there are limited options for dining in the area. Construction was going on behind the hotel that started early so that was pretty disruptive, but not something in the hotel's control. Staff were very friendly and helpful. And there was a laundry right across the street!"
"I can’t talk enough of the spa and swimming pool access option of the hotel! You will not regret it! It’s just a great way to end our wonderful time at Lyon with some self-care in their amazing spa facility. It’s also super nicely managed and clean. Especially in love with their Grotto pool. "Just a one night stop over with spa access, what a treat. Nice big rooms, nice staff and the spa is an added experience. Would highly recommend this hotel.
My only advice if your male and not used to the French customs you cannot wear swimming shorts with pockets in the pool / spa area. We had to buy some thin Nilon material swimming shorts what they sell onsite, we just went up 2 sizes so they looked like shorts and not skin tight (or you can wear speedos if you want) "

"Definitely motel-like, I wouldn’t call it a hotel but maybe this is a hotel in Lyon? It’s okay. I had my two nights traveling in between countries and it was safe, the shower was good and the bed was clean & comfortable. There were these red stains on the carpet, the toilet seat was a bit loose and over all, a bit of a strange fit for that toilet but, there you go! Some peeling at the baseboards but otherwise, fine.

Située sur les pentes de la Croix-Rousse, la Cour des Voraces est un symbole lyonnais. Construite vers 18401, c'est un bel exemple d’une architecture populaire dite « canuse », liée à l'industrie de la soie qui a profondément marqué le quartier. Mais c'est également un lieu qui symbolise quelques grands moments de l'histoire lyonnaise. La révolte des Canuts[modifier | modifier le code] Une plaque commémorative indique que « Dans la cour des Voraces, ruche du travail de la soie, les canuts luttaient pour leurs conditions de vie et leur dignité ». La cour des Voraces tient certainement son nom d'un groupe d'ouvriers canuts nommés les Voraces, qui s'illustrèrent par leurs insurrections républicaines de 1848 et 1849.
On raconte que la Cour des Voraces (également appelée « Maison de la République ») a servi de refuge aux ouvriers canuts lors de leurs révoltes3.
