We stayed here recently and overall had a really good experience. The room and bathroom were very small, but everything was extremely clean and well-kept. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept us cool throughout our stay, which was a huge plus. The only downside is that the bathroom is quite compact and the shower has just a half wall, so it’s a little tricky to keep the floor dry. What we loved most was the location—it’s very close to everything. We were able to walk to Plaka and Monastiraki Square, and there are shops and restaurants everywhere. At the same time, the hotel is a little tucked away, so we could actually get some quiet and sleep well. The staff was also super nice and helpful. Our luggage was delayed and when it was delivered the next day, they had it placed directly in our room, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a clean, convenient, and welcoming stay.

The property individuals were amazing. My only gripe was the smell of food once you leave hits you. Some of the foods are amazing, some not so much. But great hospitality and will recommend them 101 times out of 100.

This boutique hotel is very cute and decorated in an innovative way to mesh an older building with a modern aesthetic. The room was clean and in an excellent location which felt safe and was easily walkable to many restaurants and attractions. The only two improvements that could be made was that our shower stall drained very slowly, resulting in it flooding. Also, our king bed was two twins pushed together and there was a large gap between that couldn’t be eliminated which made the sleeping arrangement less than ideal for my husband and I.

Modern and ancient nicely combined

Small but comfortable room. A few fixtures were a little tired due to wear, but they functioned. The staff are lovely and the breakfast was excellent. The area is very central, but if you are sensitive to noise you may want to consider ear plugs or find a quiet place. The building is really charming and well designed.

This place is so well located. My 3/5 is because my room smelled like cigarettes, a very strong smell, and the room’s atmosphere is quite sad. It was clean, silent (I was in the last floor), and staff was pretty nice.

Hotel in the heart of Plaka with a modern twist. Older building that has been transformed into a hotel. It's a 5-minute walk from Monastiraki Metro, and yet mostly quiet (except for church bells) and safe (with main door code). A generous breakfast is available at the restaurant next door. Not ideal if you have a car, as parking in that area is difficult. Great small hotel with friendly staff. Mini bar and coffee ($) in the room. We loved our stay.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Small issue with the room but they corrected it without us asking while we were out for the day. GREAT location for walking to sites to visit as first time vacationers to Athens. We would definitely stay again!

Boutique hotel , in a great location.

Beautiful boutique hotel, with a quirky , funky vibe in a fantastic location. We were kindly upgraded for the first night of our stay as we were celebrating our anniversary, however both rooms were equally nice. Only grumble is the cost of 2 euros for a capsule of coffee. Personally I feel tea and coffee should be complementary to the room.

The place is stunning and the people who work there are really nice. But we couldn’t sleep before 2.30am because of the bar/restaurant right underneath our room (not part of the hotel) If you book there, make sure not to take a room on the 2nd floor (they have 4 floors)

Bad place

It was the worst place we ever been. We stay 3 nights and change 3 rooms. The rooms without windows, the air conditioners is not working at all ( we ask about fan- they don’t have) , the rooms are stuffy. The water from the showers rises and doesn’t drain. The shower door was broken. I can’t understand how the call themselves ”hotel”. The noise from outside is during all the night.

This hotel served its purpose in that it was in downtown/central Athens, in walking distance to most of the archaeological parks. However, the hotel is located on a very busy street corner and above a restaurant that played very loud music every night until midnight. The noise from below really didn't quiet down most nights until 1am or 2am. The beds were comfortable and adequate. The WiFi worked well for us, even to stream videos. Linens changed daily which was nice. Large bathroom. If I could do it again, I probably would book a place south of the Acropolis - we visited over there and that area of town seemed quieter and cleaner. None of this was the hotel's fault though. Also, does have in-room AC which kept the room comfortable (however if you're like me, and prefer rooms to be *cold*, as seems to be typical in Europe, this didn't do that - kept it temperate but never really got cold in the room - nonetheless I was grateful to have it!). We really didn't have any complaints with the hotel, just the surrounding environment - but that's what you get with central Athens.

Very good, but…

The room was wonderful, high ceilings, a good bed, enough space, very central location. But… - The shower didn’t work. It had 2 shower heads: one over head, which didn’t work, and a hand-held. I did complain about it during my 4-night stay, but it never got fixed. I had to shower holding the shower head in my hand, which was very annoying. - The location is in a very central area, so expect a lot of noise from outside. I could live with it, but I can understand that it can bother someone else. - An exotic experience of not flushing the toilet paper down in the bowl, but having to place it in the bin. The last two points are due to the building being old, so the hotel cannot do anything about it. The reception people were friendly folks, their English was excellent and they were very helpful.
