Okay but could be better. You get what you pay. Great location to explore Athens. Front desk staff should know how to speak politely (perhaps Greek speak loud). Staff are not rude but not Canadian standard of politeness.

I find staying in this property convenient for short stays and to explore the major attractions of Athens. However, the property lack some basic equipments like the fridge for hostel/hotel stays which is beneficial for tourists walking around Athens on a hot day. Overall, my stay went well, safe and sound.

I was delighted with my room with a view with private balcony and bathroom and fridge for a excellent price. The staff were very nice and helpful at any hour. The location was incredibly convenient and central. I will definitely stay here again

The area around the hotel is dirty and the hotel itself cannot be called clean. They may be cleaning it, but the facility is so old that it doesn't look clean. The location is not bad, so sightseeing is easy. I was grateful that breakfast was included for this price, but I felt it was impossible to relax at the hotel.

Really good, especially for a 1 star!!!!!!!!

For a 1 star hotel I am extremely impressed!! Shared bathroom was cleaned several times per day. Rooms were very clean, staff were helpful and very polite. The only small negative was I paid for 2x single beds but there were none available when I arrive so I had to share with a friend. Luckily the shared bed was a very large double with plenty of space so it worked out well.

If you are travelling in a budget you will not do better then the Sparta Team Hotel. Location is fantastic, Psiri is just a few minutes walk away at the end of the road, and is a fantastic place for eating and drinking options. Omonia Square and the subway are five minutes walk away. You can walk everywhere from this hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Great place to stay in a great urban location.

The staff were amazing. The property is not a safe place. Every taxi driver told us that we don't belong there. But it was our fault. The price was good to what we got. we stayed one night in the room and rushed to the airport the next day.

Room had bed bugs

The location is very convenient (15 mins walk from the Acropolis) and the people at reception are really friendly, polite and helpful. But the major issue was the presence of bed bugs. I flagged this at reception (who were not too surprised by this), checked out at midnight and moved into another hotel.

Make sure the room is clean and free of bed bugs

The location is very convenient (15 mins walk from the Acropolis) and the people at reception are really friendly, polite and helpful. But the major issue was the presence of bed bugs. We went to sleep around 11pm and 15 minutes later, saw came across many creepy bugs. I then read the google reviews and realised that this was a persistent problem faced by many guests historically. So I immediately flagged this at reception (who were not too surprised by this), checked out at midnight and moved into another hotel a couple of blocks away.

Fest a fall I m glad to asking rates, unfortunately we book 3 night it was unforgettable experience we booked room with attachment bathroom but when we checking front office lady give us another plastic key and she sad it is common bathroom key , o m g that’s the time I notice it was not other attach bathroom. But need to mentioned that lady was very nice and she promise to arrange another room with attach bathroom room. And ask another 35 € for attached bath room with bed bugs 🐜 Second day:( Room nothing to complain but whole night we are awoke because of BED BUGS 🐜 When I see them it was like bud bugs army then I try to clean my self because I have no energy to go down and a giving with them and also it is long day and midnight. 3 night :( Next day before we go to the conform with front office are they clean our room or not. They sad yaş it was clean and we accepted apologize. Yaş it was clean room I notice they change bed clothes too. But I double check I didn’t see any bedbugs we when to sleep in peace it wan not longer, only 2 hours are are around us again 🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜 bed bugs , This is unforgettable experience in my life to shared with you:(( :((. ( nothing to complain for staff )

Stayed for a week - had a bedbug issue and developed over 20 bites over the course that stay. Was told by someone who stays here once in a while that it is not an uncommon issue. After telling front desk, I was informed that the best they could do was to change my sheets, but it did not happen. The turnover rate is high and would not recommend the mixed dorm room for solo female travelers unless you are relatively comfortable with multiple male roommates. A lot of people stay for one or two nights then leave. Upon arrival, the air-conditioning was also not functioning, but they tried to fix it within a few days. Luckily it was not the peak of summer but was still quite warm and stuffy. Soundproofing is virtually non-existent: expect to be able to hear others taking calls from the next-door room. The showerhead is also a bit problematic but it's an easy fix. Bring a lock for the locker and your own towel. Overall, decent place for bare necessities of staying the night and showering. Staff did try their best to help me and were helpful and friendly. The place is quite old - operating since 1960s, so breakdowns are to be expected but I had a brief conversation with the owner who helped me resolve an issue at night, he was helpful and engaging. Conclusion: Would not recommend except for extreme budgeting and bare necessities of a bed shower.

The hostel itself is fine, if a bit rundown. The staff was friendly and is onsite 24/7. The main problem is the location. It’s in little Pakistan with graffiti on every building. There was a big fight out on the street the night we stayed. Incredibly noisy. Would only recommend for a one night quicj stay, but even that just pay $5 to stay somewhere a little nicer and more safe.

Great staff, safe clean and better than expected

I wasn’t expecting much when I booked here given it’s mainly a hostel but booked a private room first stay with en suite second without. Now the first room had a private balcony which was great was quiet - was basic but likewise had air con and a big fridge and a TV and was safe and secure - which was a big plus the property is split into multiple floors with stairs/ lift with 5 or 6 rooms per Floor it seemed. There was on the floor I was one male and one female bathrooms inside contained a shower cubicle and a toilet cubicle there was a sink also but I had this i my room. Apartment and shared facilities very clean and surprisingly quiet,did not have issues getting a Shower or with noise - This is in a busy neighbourhood in the middle of an Asian district with bustling shops, streets and amazing food - some mentioned they didn’t feel safe -personally even late at night this didn’t bother me and didn’t feel unsafe likened to any other Chinatown district in Uk. The staff really made this place - Kind, genuine, helpful had my room ready early were extremely welcoming - if you need basic accommodation at a safe and decent clean place with great staff would highly recommend.
