"we loved the Emory House. The hosts are wonderfully gracious and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the koi pond and the log cabin in the back. Great place to stay!"

"The historical aspect of the property and the work the owners had put into making this a true blast in the past was fantastic. The breakfast the next day was very elegant and you felt like you were living in the 1700's We will stay there any time we are passing through"

"What a great place! Peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we couldn’t hang outside by the fire pit but the screened in porch is a nice extension of the home. The hosts reached out to make sure everything was going well and it was. There is a gas station/cafe around the bend and the cafe has really good food, especially for breakfast. The gas station has hunt brothers pizza and that was good as well....

"Once we figured out the panel on the front door was the keypad that needed a firm touch when pressing the code, everything else was smooth sailing. Perfectly stocked with everything one would need for a getaway—all you need to bring is food and drinks. The large old Bible was a precious find, and I enjoyed leafing through that. Hey, Google provided tunes of our choosing, and the internet was a lifesaver as cell service is basically nonexistent (at least with my carrier T-Mobile). Nice cabin to...
